Our sexual energy is our very ‘root energy’. It is the seed for our natural human energy in all its expressions. Most cultures place a fair amount of shame and guilt on our sexual energy which results in us holding our sexuality inwards and repressing our natural energy, reducing the flame of our passion to a small flicker, repressing valuable emotions, sensations, repressing pleasure and judging our beautiful god given bodies.
All of which may lead to a dim sense of self love and a muted way of living. If the roots of a tree are cut, the tree will not grow. A tree only grows as tall as its roots goes deep. The same goes for your sexual energy: If you repress and judge your sexual energy, your energy in its totality will be affected.
Add to that a lack of quality sexual education available, an overall disconnect from our bodies, the difficulties in communicating with another person and sexual trauma.
But we can recover and heal ourselves and uncover our natural sensual selves: free yourself to experience pleasure, joy, love and a deep sense of connection within yourself and with others.
